| Vitamin A supports cellular renewal and the production of collagen (the skins
major structural support). Vitamin A, as a primary antioxidant sweeps out and
neutralizes free radicals (unstable oxygen molecules responsible for breakdown
of cells that precedes aging and disease). Vitamin A is significantly
responsible for the production of new cells and the maintenance and repair of
mucous membranes; helps fight acne and premenstrual skin eruptions.
Vitamin A helps the body resist infection, form pigment, and build and
maintain collagen, and elastin, strengthening the skin and capillary walls.
Retinol A, when added to skin creams, attracts moisture, causing the layer to
swell slightly. When used regularly it can reduce the consequences of sun damage
and may help the body rebuild collagen in the skin.
Like most of the population, our water sources are treated with chlorine.
Chlorine-treated water is drying. Keep your skin moisturized with products that
truly penetrate the skin such as those containing substantial amounts of Aloe
Vera.
Application of creams truly rich in aloe vera will put an end to stretch
marks (usually caused during pregnancy).
Aloe Vera is used in a number of hospitals to encourage new skin growth after
surgery and also to heal burns indicating that it is great to heal sunburns as
well!
Vitamin E is a highly moisturizing oil, protects from ultraviolet rays,
reduces fine lines and wrinkles and delays the aging process; helps heal
scarring and wounds and is a weapon against anti-aging. |
